Three ladies from Eye Saints – Eira, Gill and Mary – entered the fourth Diss Mêlée today. It was another super, fun-filled day with good weather and great games.
Three games of 40 mins. each were played before lunch and two after. Because of numbers the games were triples or doubles, depending on the draw.
At the end of the day, scores were totalled and Gill managed to end sixth with three wins plus 17 points. Not enough to challenge Eira’s past result of 2nd in the previous melee but she’s getting there!
We are all looking forward to the next one, which will be a Christmas themed day on 24 November.
Well done Gill, pictured below with her prize of cake!
